– Employing the technologies of the fourth industrial revolution, IR4.0, to connect the production lines of the Saudi Paper Converting Company to the SAP system.
– Application of RFID Technologies.
– Connecting auxiliary units to the SAP system.
– Structural modernization of the information infrastructure (servers – optical fiber connectivity – modernization of information security protection programs).
• Financial control system project:
•Internal controls and compliance have become a major area of focus for all companies – especially those listed on financial markets – that they need to meet the evolving demands of internal and external stakeholders.
• In addition to the needs of work teams in the finance and financial control departments to comply with the requirements of external auditors and observers.
• The executive leadership of the Saudi Paper Group decided to update its information environment to (SAP S4/Hana) and consider it an integral component of its comprehensive strategy to achieve governance through the following:
• Reviewing and updating financial and operational controls in an institutional manner, achieving and enhancing the effectiveness of controls over operations, data and reports
• Automation of risk management, ensuring the effectiveness of continuous monitoring mechanisms. Which allows continuous tuning, as well as automated alerts, to enable timely and effective action and treatment
• Managing compliance with future updates on regulatory requirements through a unified system that achieves a reduction in regulatory costs, rapid and early response to those updates
• Increase transparency by making compliance status reports available, of the required quality and in a timely manner
• The expansion of financial control and oversight operations will remain in the focus of the Saudi Paper Group’s attention, to keep pace with global financial challenges and achieve the highest degree of confidence in the issued reports.
• Enhancing work environment Project:
• The company succeeded in attracting qualified cadres, especially Saudi ones, and the management sought to replace the Saudi manpower in the various departments of the company from the administrative sector to production, maintenance, quality and procurement, as well as developing an integrated female team in the conversion plant to achieve the Saudization program, in addition to strengthening all company departments with qualified female elements Which, God willing, will be a valuable addition to raise the efficiency of performance.
• The company also signed a contract with a specialized company to study the situation of the local market and the competitive market and determine the appropriate salary scale and job grades in order to create an attractive work environment that preserves human capital and facilitates the process of attracting qualified cadres.
• In terms of development and creating an ideal professional environment, the company has undertaken several human resources initiatives by adopting performance indicators for each employee. A job succession program has also been launched, ensuring that the priority is given to Saudi cadres. On the other hand, an administrative structure has been adopted that keeps pace with the requirements of the current stage and contributes to supporting the company in competition and achieving the aspirations of shareholders, God willing.
• In terms of training, the company implements expanded training programs annually that include all levels of employees and provides specialized training courses to ensure the continuation of the development and training process for the company’s cadres.
